Obama Health Plan - What is It All About??

The New Obama Health Plan is on a lot of folks's minds these days, and for no small reason.

Although we ALL know there is a huge need for some kind of health reform in our country, many are very hesitant to accept the radical changes that this new health bill imposes.

Who wants to have a huge tax increase for lower health care?

Especially those that have very few medical needs.

It is not their fault that the next person down the street has thousands of dollars in medical bills!

As was stated in an article of the Fortune magazine..."

The crucial question about Obama's agenda has always been whether it really will slow the disastrous rise in health-care spending, or actually increase it while hiding the real costs of the new system. On analyzing the bills, the conclusion is inescapable: Obama promises Americans what appears to be a bargain by heavily subsidizing their premiums. But the only way to pay for what's really outrageously expensive coverage will be huge tax increases, especially on the same middle class that's being wooed as the chief beneficiary of reform.

Another HUGE concern is that we will face the same thing that many Canadians face when they need medical help.

Rationing.

A good friend of ours in Canada, lost a family member to cancer, when all it would have taken was a simple surgery to remove the tumor.

But by the time he was FINALLY able to get his surgery done - MONTHS after he should've had it, it was too late.

Another friend of ours had a family member in a vehicle accident and they had to wait FIVE MONTHS before the drs could perform a simple MRI to determine the damage.

No wonder folks are concerned about....

The demand for everything from knee surgery to mental health counseling will soar. But the government will keep a lid on prices, so Americans, for the first time, will be faced with rationing. The hospitals and physicians simply won't be able to satisfy the unhinged demand for the services that look like a bargain.
